Empordà is a wine designation of origin that mainly covers land in the Alt and Baix Empordà regions.
In this area, wine culture has its origins in the Greek city of Empúries.
The vineyards are located on calcareous soils ranging from sea level to an altitude of 200 metres. Different varieties of white and red wines are grown here.
Our apartments are located near the wine-producing towns of Baix Empordà, which is bordered to the north by the Montgrí massif, to the southwest by the Gavarres massif, which forms a coastal plain with the Begur massif, and to the east by the Mediterranean Sea.
You will find wineries near our apartments just a 20-40 minute drive away. These include Mas Oller, Celler Mas Patiràs, Celler Mas Geli and Sota els Àngels.
In addition, Empordà offers a wide range of wine tourism experiences to enjoy with all your senses:
- Guided tours of wineries and vineyards
- Tastings, pairings and meals among the vines
- Courses, workshops and grape harvest experiences
