Wines with denomination of origin Empordà – February 2020

Empordà is a denomination of wine origin that mainly covers land in the regions of l’Alt i Baix Empordà.

The vineyards are located on calcareous land ranging from sea level to 200 metres above sea level. Different varieties of white and black wines are cultivated there.

Our apartments are located near the wine production towns of the Baix Empordà, which is bordered to the north by the Montgrí massif, to the southwest by the Gavarres massif, which forms a coastal plain with the Begur massif, and to the east by the Mediterranean.

You will find wine cellars near our apartments only 20-40 minutes away by car. Among them: Mas Oller, Celler Mas Patiràs, Celler Mas Anglada and Sota els Àngels.

You will also be able to discover different types of experiences offered among the vineyards, such as: visits to wineries or to the vineyards, theatrical visits, lunches among the vineyards, courses and workshops, harvesting among the vineyards, museums and oenological centres, wine therapy and tastings by the sea.
