Shopping in Costa Brava
Although in Estartit (Costa Brava) there are many shops, you or a familiy member may be seduced by the possibility of spending a day shopping in one of the nearby shopping centers.
ESPAI GIRONÈS (SALT-Girona)
This modern shopping center, 40 kilometers from the Sa Gavina Medes and Sa Gavina Gaudi apartments, hosts the leading brands stores of fashion, accessories, shoes, multi cinemas restaurants and bars.
It has a large public car park and its location next to the AP-7 motorway makes it easily recognizable.
THE OLD QUARTER OF GIRONA
The city of Girona, capital of the province, is located 40 km from the Sa Gavina Medes and Sa Gavina Gaudi apartments, a drive of 40 minutes.
It is a city of 100,000 inhabitants, equipped with all the infrastructures of a large city and is connected to Barcelona by the high-speed train (AVE) in 37 minutes.
Girona has several shopping areas, noting the one found in the Jewish Quarter, in the old quarter of the city, full of small shops, boutiques and groceries
PLATJA D’ARO
It is one of the holiday resorts of the Costa Brava just 30 minute drive from the Sa Gavina Medes and Sa Gavina Gaudi apartments. It has a large main avenue with many and extensive range of products and services, from small independent retailers to well known textile brand shops.

Is an important shopping and economic center on the Costa Brava. It is well connected to Estartit, just a 20 mins drive.
Sunday is market day and is held in the town center , a market which offers food products, textiles and shoes as well as beach items . In addition from Tuesday to Thursday there is a smaller market for food products.
BARCELONA
Barcelona, with a population of over one milion and half people, is one of Europe’s most visited cities by both foreign and national tourists alike .
The Catalan capital is 140 kilometers from the Sa GAvina Medes and Sa Gavina Gaudi apartments.
It is accessible from Estartit by car or by public transport, with a regular bus service, or train ride with the AVE from Girona or a conventional train ride from Flaca station, 20 kilometers from the Sa Gavina Medes and Sa Gavina Gaudi apartments.
