Medes islands pirates and corsairs
From 23rd to 25th September
In the XVI century, the pirates attacked our coasts and occupied the Medes Islands to lead their attacks from there towards mainland.
These days, inhabitants of l´Estartit and foreigners recall those difficult times, with a little imagination, celebrating the Pirates and Corsairs in Medes Islands Fair.
