El GR 92,  “Sendero del Mediterráneo”

The GR 92 is one of Catalonia’s most iconic long-distance hiking routes, stretching 583 kilometres from Portbou, on the French border, to Ulldecona in the south, closely following the Mediterranean coastline.

Along the way, the trail winds through beaches, coves, cliffs and fishing villages, as well as passing through protected natural areas such as Cap de Creus, Aiguamolls de l’Empordà, Garraf and Collserola, and skirting the Ebro Delta. It’s not just a nature route, but also a journey through the history, architecture and culture of the Catalan coast.

As part of the European long-distance path E-10, the GR 92 links Catalonia with Europe and the broader Mediterranean, making it a must-do for nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts.
