Hiking route along the Camino de Ronda (L’Estartit-L’Escala)

We propose you an easy route with very good views that links the village of l’Estartit with the village of l’Escala. It is a journey of 17.1 km following the “Camí de Ronda” by the GR-92 and Punta Milà.

The route starts in the village of l’Estartit going up towards “Cap de la Barra”, where you will see the “Illes Medes”and the whole Coast until Begur. Then follow a rocky path until you reach the GR92 that will lead you to l’Escala. You will pass through Punta Milà, the old site of an artillery battery, which has a fantastic view from the entrance to Cala Montgó to “Cap de Creus”.

From Punta Milà you continue to Cala Montgó, along a path with some complicated sections, but with very good views. From this last point you will arrive at l’Escala by the coast, crossing the port and the beach dels Riells.
