Botanical garden in Calella de Palafrugell

It is located in the Cap Roig (Costa Brava) 30 km from the Sa Gavina Medes and Sa Gavina Gaudi apartments, less than 30 minutes drive from Estartit.

We strongly recommend a visit with the family. It ranks as one of the most important Mediterranean gardens with over a thousand botanical species in 17 acres,found in the municipalities of Palafrugell and Mont-Ras.

The  garden is distributed into terraces that go from the castle to the sea: The nuns terrace , the Basin Terrace, Lover’s Garden, Cacti Garden, The walk of the Geraniums, etc.

In addition installed in the garden are works of Spanish and foreign sculptors and in the outdoor auditorium each summer the famous “Festival of the Gardens of Cap Roig” are held in which renowned artists take part in concerts of dance and music.
