Costa Brava coastal pathway

Near to our rental apartments in L’Estartit you can enjoy with your family a large variety of routes. Namely the Costa Brava coastal pathway from Blanes to Portbou where you can enjoy some spectacular scenery of the coast and the typically Mediterrianean vegetation.

The costal pathway is divided into different sections which join together diiferent villages on the Costa Brava. An easy route which is ideal at any time of the year. In the part running along the coast of Estartit, near to our apartments, we find the tip of Mila, more than fifty meters above sea level. After the tip of “Mila”, we can view the “Cove of Life”,  the “Salt Cove” and the “Crestats”, a collection of cliffs which give access the “Montgo Cove”.

The path,was originially created by the authorities after the Spanish Civil War, to control the smuggling. In the recent years improvements have been made to the pathway to enable it as a tourist route.
