Discover the Medes Islands by kayak

The Medes islands are situated one mile off the coast of L’Estartit, where our apartments for rental are situated, in the heart of the Costa Brava. They are comprised of seven small limestone islands that make up 22 hectares of nature reserve.

Access to the islands by kayak allows us to enjoy the impressive views of the islands walls with lots of nooks and crannies and passages. Our rental apartments in L’Estartit is the perfect place to relax and comment a thousand and one stories.

Rugged coastline with pine forests, islands, groups of rocks, caves, narrow passages, clear water … a fantastic, magical place.

For those of you who have not had enough of the beauty of L’Estartit with just a visit to the Medes Islands, and if the weather permits, you can explore the area to the north of L’Estartit, with its various caves and crevices in the  limestone cliffs. Its hoghlight is a large caven called “ La Foradada” which passes from one side to another of “Cap de Castell”
