Santa Llúcia Festival
Will we see you this year at the Santa Llúcia Festival?
The Santa Llúcia Festival comes to l’Estartit on the 11th, 12th, 13th, 17th and 18th of December. It is one of the most awaited fairs for all Christmas lovers: Christmas decorations, the solidarity tió, Christmas carols concert, nougat workshops, etc.
The programmed activities will take place mainly in the Church Square, in the Church of Santa Anna and in the Multi-purpose Hall. The Santa Llúcia Festival is an event designed for everyone and has been designed with different audiences in mind.

Saturday 11 December
10:00 – Solidarity Tió (Church Square)
10:30, 11:30 and 12:30 – Santa Llúcia storytelling session with Jordi Garolera (Estartit Library)
11:00 – Showcooking: Nougat Workshop (Church Square)
12:00 – Presentation of the Santa Llúcia book (Church Square)
13:00 – Raising of the Estartit flag in tribute to the victims of the Covid-19 (Cal Reiet roundabout)
19:00 – Youth Concert (Multi-purpose Hall)
20:30 – Correfoc with the Pirats del Foc (Fire Pirates)
Sunday 12th December
10:00 – Solidarity Tió (Church Square)
12:00 – Inauguration of the Wishing Tree with David the Magician (Plaza de la Iglesia)
11:00 – Batucada Drum Workshop with Retumbatuka and Gegantó Carilsus bearer workshop (Church Square)
18:00 – Santa Llúcia Choral Singing Concert (Santa Ana Church)
Monday 13th December
10:30 – Solemn Mass with the Cobla Montgrins and Les Veus de l’Estartit (Church of Santa Anna)
11:15 – Carols Concert (Santa Anna Church)
12:00 – Awards for the Top Model drawing competition of the Elias Bookshop (Church Square)
12:30 – Proclamation of Santa Llúcia (Church Square)
13:00 – Sardanes with Cobla Montgrins and Vermouth Popular (Church Square)
18:00 – Coffee Concert with Cobla Montgrins and Ball de Tarda (Church Square)
Friday 17th December
19:00 – Presentation of the book La Vida Auténtica by Montse Barderi (Santa Anna’s Church)
Sunday 19th December
16:00 – Amateur friendly football match (Football Field)

The Santa Llúcia Festival, a safe space
People attending this event must wear masks at all times. Also, you will need to do handwashing often with soap and water or alcohol gel and go to activities with the bubble group. In addition, some activities will require a Covid certificate.
