Fair of “Pirates i Corsaris a les Illes Medes” – September 2020

Since the 16th century, the Medes have been a refuge for pirates and corsairs. To remember those times, from 25th to 27th September from 10 a.m. To 8 p.m., the 16th edition of the Fair of “Pirates and Corsairs in the Medes Islands” will be held in the streets of l’Estartit. The streets will be filled with stalls selling traditional and handmade products, entertainment for children, parades, pirate performances, corsair landings, children’s workshops and guided tours of exhibitions, among other activities. All of this will be done following the recommendations for distance and safety (limited capacity, use of masks, use of hydroalcoholic gel and maintenance of safety distance), to guarantee the correct functioning of all the activities.
